Start by measuring the space if you’re wanting to tile. Once you know how big the area is, you can calculate what you can afford to pay for your tiles. For example if you need 10m2 and you plan to spend about R2000, then you’re looking for tiles in the price range of R100-150 per square metre, which leaves you with some budget for the adhesives, grout, additives and other things you need to install the tiles.

Step 2

Time for the fun stuff, which is choosing the tiles, basin or taps for your project. Use your approximate budget from step 1 to help keep you on track and spend only what you can afford.

Step 3
